Landscape Use: Use only if there is lots of space for this plant as it will take up as much area as allowed. It might stop at the street, but we wouldn’t guarantee it. Its bright silvery leaves make it a good candidate for mass accent planting where appropriate.Grows best in full sun and dry conditions. Silverberry / Wolf Willow (Elaeagnus commutata)
Variable shrub from 1m to 3m tall. Suckers aggressively to form groves. Narrow silver leaves. Small yellow flowers in late spring, very fragrant. Fruit is a silver berry and persistent through the winter. Silvery grey twigs stand out in winter.
