Welcome to Bow Point

A letter from Bow Point Nursery…

We’re often asked about why we became the caretakers of this beautiful nursery, and the answer is that we had a simple vision for connecting Albertan families to sustainable hardy plant species. Aligning our clients’ outdoor spaces with a respect for nature and our native ecosystems means that we will ensure the longevity of our suburban landscapes.

We also wanted to create a way of life for our own family based on these same values. We knew that a deep connection to nature would occur by living, working and caring so deeply about our farm, and through educating our children about sustainable living in our unique Alberta climate.

We are extremely passionate about and proud of our growing techniques; our native plant species are grown in the ground without irrigation, pesticides or herbicides. Sustainability is one of our highest priorities, and we’ve maintained these practices since the beginning.

We’d like to welcome you. We hope that your visit to Bow Point Nursery allows you to feel our passion, and that you take some of it home with you. We hope you are inspired to learn and grow and nurture plants, knowing how special our relationship with the land where we live can be.
